There are a lot of Sub Games dotted around Final Fantasy VII. Once you have done them, most of them can be played again and again in the Wonder Square in the Gold Saucer.

When you finally escape from the Shinra Headquarters, you party leaves in a Van, with Cloud on a Motorbike. Before you start the game you have to form your party, and equip them, as you have to fight a Boss at the end of the Sub Game. These are the controls for the game :- The aim of the game is the same as the Classic Road Rash, defend the van by knocking the Shinra Guards off their bikes. |

You play the snowboarding game in between the Icicle Inn and the Great Glacier.
At this point in the game, the balloons serve no purpose, but they give you points in the Arcade Game in the Gold Saucer.
