Gold Saucer

Description

The Gold Saucer is a giant pleasure park situated above the desert near North Corel. It is made up out of 6 squares, a ropeway station, and a ghostly hotel.
The Squares are :-

• Wonder Square
  This is where you can find many arcade games.

  Chocobo Square

  This is where you can place bets on Chocobo races, and even race Chocobos yourself.

  Battle Square

  This is where one Character can take part in a series of battles in order to win some valuble prizes.

  Event Square

  A large Theatre arena that doesn't have many events.

  Speed Square

  A rollercoaster ride, where you can win some expensive prizes.

  Round Square

  A cablecar ride giving you a tour of the entire saucer.

The Gold Saucer has its own Currency, GP. You have to win GP at either the Chocobo Races, or on the Arcade games in Wonder Square.
HINT : Very occasionally you will see a man standing in the shadows in the Ropeway station, he will let you convert your GIL into GP.

1st Visit Objective

You can wander around the Gold Saucer and try out all the attractions, but certain events will happen when you visit certain squares.

When you visit Wonder Square you will meet Cait Sith, who will force himself into your party!

When you visit Battle Square you will be arrested and thrown into the Desert Jail below. Don't worry, both these events are meant to happen.
