Yorkshire's first Camping Event is coming!

As part of the Mega Event weekend (which seems to be turning into a week), there is going to be a Camping Event near Ripon.

The site promises to be top notch, and we hope to see many Yorkshire folk turn out to show cachers from around the County (and even from around the Globe) what a nice area North Yorkshire is to visit.

This thread discusses the Content article: Dust Down The Canvas

Link to the event page http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=0344dcba-0883-4b06-a528-72364484fc0a

So even though it's close to home, is any tempted to dust down the canvas and join in the fun?

Yeah, Saturday night is the "open to all" BBQ event - there is also quite likely to be other things going on leading up to Saturday night.

Who gets to drive???
Steadings (andy and jo) from Cirencester are coming up and camping for the first time, so we are joining them. At least we don't pull straws for the priviledge to drive

(Zed says she will come if she has a tent to herself)

Edited to say - we are also using it to build up to the Great British Beer Festival in London the week after.
